Branding and Identity Design

Branding and a company's identity are important because that's what dictates the emotional response that company receives from anyone who comes across that brand. The logo is an important beginning for the conversation, as it sets the tone of voice for all of a company's interactions with the public.

Kenesaw Marketing

Here's a selection of logos from a study I did for one of my freelance clients who are considering giving their corporate identity a facelift. I really wanted to give them three completely different feels. One that's very staid and corporate, one that's modern and conveys a feeling of capability, and one that's kind of fun and creative.

The Old Mill

This was a logo that I worked on with my friend Dan Lipe while we were working at Springhouse Studio. I did the illustration, he did the type, and together we put together the concept.

TFACT

One of the first logos I did during my internship.

LeConte Medical Center

I didn't do the logo, but I got to put together an identity package and advertising (which you'll see in another section) for this newly constructed hospital in Sevier County.

Knoxville Big Shots

Logo concept for a 3-on-3 basketball tournament in my hometown.

Parkwest Behavioral Health

Stationary kit for the new Parkwest Behavioral Health section.

I love the comment, “You must love designing for a living.” At that point I usually start to laugh or break into uncontrollable tears.
